Sales Letter/Email for PhysioPilates.

The brief: to write a sales letter/email, aimed at Neurosurgeons, to encourage them to refer their patients to online Pilates.

Dear…

My name is X X, and I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates teacher.

I’m reaching out to you to consider referring your patients to my online Pilates support. As experts in the human nervous system and prominent members of the MDT, I appreciate that you face unique challenges to help your patients. Whether it’s with non-operative treatment plans, or recovery and rehabilitation post-surgery.

I understand that pain can be debilitating for our patients, which can result in difficulty moving and functioning, feeling vulnerable, and lacking body confidence. Finding the right person to compliment your treatments, to build trust, and allow flexibility (in more than one sense) is a problem.

A bit about me.

I trained and qualified as a physiotherapist at The Royal Liverpool Hospital in 1986. After completing rotations I moved to Manchester to work in paediatrics in the community. This sparked my interest in neuro rehab, so I returned to adults in both the NHS and privately.

After suffering my own crippling neck pain whilst working full time and raising 3 children, I turned to Pilates and it was a game-changer. I trained in London, opened my own studio in Wilmslow, and taught there for 24 years. Pilates was only just arriving in the mainstream in the UK in the 90s. I was one of only 3 teachers in the North West in 1997!

I’ve had the good fortune to work with everyone from the exercise averse, to elite athletes in my career, including stars of football, rugby, and cricket, as well as Olympians.

For many reasons, I moved my Pilates support online in 2022.

The service I now offer.

  • 4 x live, 1 hour sessions per week.

  • Access to 100+ on-demand classes in video and audio form.

  • Covering neck and low back pain, post-surgery, joint issues, ageing, sports, relaxation, and vocational rehab.

What’s in it for the patients?

  • It’s all about them - they get personal, tailored support from me, as I get to know them and monitor their progress (online, email, phone, and WhatsApp).

  • 3 progressive levels, depending on experience (called Step, Connect, and Flow).

  • It’s not for the masses - it’s like face-to-face, but done online.

  • Learn Pilates principles, sequences, and an understanding of their own bodies.

  • Anytime use of my library of classes to fit their schedules.

  • Weekly emails from me with class timetables and latest news.

I’m not big on ‘follow me, do 10 more, and plank until you turn blue!’ I pride myself on helping those who may be averse to exercise, set building blocks of deep support, and encourage awareness of their own bodies with a healthy nod to their limitations.

If you’d like to browse my on-demand library, or even join a live online class to experience it for yourself, this can be easily arranged.

Also, your patients are welcome to join a free introductory session at: x

Thank you for taking the time to read about my service. If you think this could benefit you and your patients, I’d love to hear from you by email, or you can call me on xxxxx xxx xxx.

Warmest regards
